To eliminate such shortcomings Expertware created an extensible software for contract authoring and management allowing lifecycle management for complex, interrelated contracts. It is optimized to hold both metadata, contract templates, contract instances, proof of signatures and hashed contracts.

It allows flexible linking between supplier, customer contracts handling different chains of trust. Usually, contracts require management of supporting documents used for pricing, negotiations, the definition of processes and contact persons from the parties hence we extended the application to manage documents sets related to a contract. Supporting documents are themselves tagged and get inherited metadata from the contract chains so they can be easily retrievable via search. We've seen situations when after a number of years the original pricing sheets used during the contract proposal were needed and responsible teams
